I couldn`t make Tonys’ funeral as I was coming back from Thailand.
It was a great shock to me to receive your email about Tony. I had no idea he was so ill. We go back a long way, to our boyhood days of playing in Bellemoor band. He was B flat bass with me playing E Flat bass, side by side, as well as both being members of the 2nd troop with Paddy and Co.
I last saw him a while ago, in our local paper shop of all places, as he used to live in the South View Rd area. My condolences to Ann.
