Active Support Unit
Well another month gone by and soon Christmas will be upon us. How time flies especially when you are busy. We have been pretty active over the past month.5of us spent 5or6 hours helping The British Legion and their "Poppy Collection" on the 12th.November 2011.Don't know how much we collected yet but people were very generous. Will let you know how much later. Thank you to all of my members who gave of their time on the day. We entered a team in the 11th.Group "Quiz Night" and a most enjoyable evening was had by all. Thank you to Jane and Richard Cook for their hard work. The District Swimming Gala was another busy evening for us with all of our team helping on the night.
We shall be at the Beaver "Christingle" service and of course the "Cub Carol" service doing our bit to help. Don't forget if we can help your Group or Section then please give me a call. So until next year A Merry Christmas to you all.
