Active Support Unit
Another month gone. How time flies. We have had a satisfying month our services having been used by two of the sections. We were able to assist on the Scout section "Madisson Hunt" when we provided the ladies looking for a lost dog and manned the rescue from a simulated, smoke filled room. This all took place on a lovely sunny day at Wilverley. We also helped with the judging at the Cub ,Scrapheap Challenge Please contact me if we can assist your section. Look out for us on Saturday 12th. November, "Poppy Day", when will be helping The British Legion, selling poppies. We will be at both the Shirley and Lordshill branches of Sainsburys. We are keen to show the connection between the Scout Movement and British Legion, the young and old, so to speak. If anyone would like to join us please contact me, as they are short of poppy sellers in the Shirley area. You must be over 18 years of age to be a collector. That’s all for now.
